Personality: Marian has always been kind, stubborn and adventurous. She had always been willing to help those in need whether they are poor and wounded Marian has no hesitation. She usually speaks her mind but since being kidnapped by the Others, Marian has become more shy and withdrawn, only speaking to those who she believes she trusts. Special Skills: She knows how to cook, has been taught how to fish and is pretty good at throwing a dagger Weaknesses: Being taken away at 16 years of age, Marian is very vulnerable. She now has trouble trusting, she doesn’t talk to strangers unless they force her too. Always one to rebel, loving the idea of being free, Marian had never been able follow orders which usually leads to trouble, especially since being held captive HISTORY Shy 24 year old Marian was born to a Maid, Rebecca and her soldier lover, Rohan. Her parents relationship was a forbidden one, as a soldier was frowned upon if he touched a Maid, but that did not matter to Rebecca nor Rohan, their love was much greater than any olden rule. Rohan met Rebecca on one of his trips to war, she gave help when the soldiers needed it the most, they were battle torn and wounded, Rebecca was their to heal their wounds and feed their empty stomachs. Rebecca stood out over the rest of the maids, Rohan felt like he was hypnotised by her beauty. She would read him beautiful poetry to help him sleep at night. The soldiers could only stay there for a couple of days to refresher, Rohan could not bare the thought of leaving Rebecca, she was now his life. On his last night they secretly made love and that was when Marian was born. Rohan promised once the war was over that he would come back. As time went by Marian grew into a beautiful young lady and both she and her mother had been accepted in a little fisherman‘s village, Florin, where Marian would eventually meet and fall in love with Ole. On the night Ole proposed, Rohan escaped the war and found his family, he was determined to stay with him, although he came back very war torned, he would not make the night. His wife stayed beside him long after he met his end and could not stop the tears. The next morning the village was raided by the enemy, they took the soldiers body, trapped his wife and 16 year old daughter and burnt the house down. But Marian was wise, she had found a way to escape, though reluctantly escaped on her own as her mother ordered her too. Marian ran for her life, towards the one who would be able to calm her. But before she made it to his house she was trapped by the enemy and was never to be seen again. Still being held captive by the Others, Marian, over the years has formed a close bond with her guard, Aldo. He is not mean like everyone else; he goes out of his way to help her, which Marian fears one day will get him caught. The more time she spends with him, the more her fondness grows.
